Certification ISO 9001
GIST decided to introduce Quality management system (OMS) in June 2000. It was a strategic decision of management in relation to transparency to customers. The company obtained a certificate so that the QMS of GIST is in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 9001 in November 2000. The company past supervisory audits in October 2001 and October 2002.
In the year 2002 the company management decided to obtain certification according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 during the year 2003. The procedural approach in QMS documentation and in all QMS activities is related. The company obtained a certificate that its QMS is in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 in September 2003. The company past supervisory audits in September 2004 and September 2005.
The recertification audit according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 was held on 18th-20th September 2006 and there was issued the certificate valid until 20th September 2009. The company past supervisory audits in September 2007 and September 2008.
Another recertification audit according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 was held in the beginning of September 2009 and there was issued the certificate valid until 6th September 2012.
Currently the company is preparing for a certification according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009, which is the standard issued in April 2009 and replacing previous criterial standard.
