Tax Information System
Automated Tax Information System (ADIS)
The automated tax information system (ADIS) provides the application and technical support for the Czech Tax Administration. It is a countrywide application with a unified technical infrastructure.
This application consists of individual modules for processing tax returns of the individual types of taxes, modules of common sectional activities, which are necessary for administration, registration, collection and enforcement of taxes, transfer of financial funds to entitled recipients as well as modules of necessary system support, including modules for electronic processing of documents displayed on the website of the Czech Tax Administration.
The automated tax information system is upgraded yearly by changes resulting from the tax law amendments related to the amendments of tax returns, output printed forms, calculation algorithms, etc.
"Tax Portal" application has been created as part of the ADIS and has been included in the framework of Czech Tax Administration website (you can find the application in "e-Tax" section). Tax Portal includes following services:
- for general public - Electronic Submission (EPO), public service enabling to submit tax returns electronically;
- for those who have set up tax information box - electronic access to information regarding own Personal Tax Account, Personal Tax Calendar, List of Documents.
The aim of Tax Portal is to improve services provided to tax entities (to improve the client-oriented approach of the Tax Administration to the tax public).
Our company participate eminently on the continuous development of ADIS. The customer of this project is the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and users are all territorial financial bodies. Implementing of Tax Portal application (see above) means, that ADIS users are virtually all tax subjects and other people participating on tax administration in the Czech Republic. IBM is the system integrator of this project.
